Portal & E-Signature Terms

These terms govern use of the private proposal portal and electronic acceptance flow ("Portal") provided by your EHS consultancy through Measure IH, LLC (MeasureIH). By verifying your email and accepting a proposal, you agree to these terms.

1. Identity verification

Access requires verification of an email address authorized on the proposal (primary contact, a colleague you shared the link with, or a prior signer). You may receive a one-time code by email or, when your consultancy listed a mobile number on the proposal, by SMS if you choose that option.

Verification codes and magic links expire after 15 minutes and are single-use for codes. SMS messages are transactional only (sign-in codes). We do not send marketing or promotional texts through the Portal. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. By choosing text verification, you agree we may send authentication codes to the number on file for your proposal contact.

2. Electronic signatures

When you click "Accept & sign proposal," you agree that your typed name or drawn signature constitutes your legal electronic signature under the U.S. ESIGN Act and applicable state UETA laws, with the same force as a handwritten signature for the selected scope and fees shown on the Portal.

3. Audit record

Each acceptance creates an immutable audit record including: verified email, signer name and email, timestamp (UTC), IP address, browser user-agent, terms version accepted, a snapshot of the selected package and pricing, and a cryptographic hash of that snapshot. This record is retained for compliance and dispute resolution.

4. Authority to bind

By signing, you represent that you are authorized to engage the consultancy on behalf of the client company named in the proposal for the package selected.

5. No account required

The Portal does not create a user account. Session cookies are proposal-scoped and expire when you close your browser or after a reasonable period.
